Yet the Detroit Lions are optimistic after seeing Terrion Arnold adapt quickly while logging significant snaps.
Arnold, their first-round selection in last year’s draft, started immediately and maintained that role for 15 games in his rookie season.
He ranked third on the team in defensive snaps, behind linebacker Jack Campbell and safety Kerby Joseph.
