2025 Pro Bowl Recap: Jared Goff Wins MVP, Jahmyr Gibbs’ Incredible INT

Key moments from the Detroit Lions players at the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl.

The Pro Bowl Games wrapped up on Sunday with a flag football game, mixed in with some additional skills competitions. With six Detroit Lions players in attendance, there was plenty to discuss about the event in Orlando, Florida.

 Jared Goff Claims Offensive MVP

Goff started the flag football game as the NFC’s quarterback and quickly led the team to three scoring drives.

According to the broadcast, Goff ended with 126 yards and three touchdowns. His performance earned him the Offensive MVP award, as the NFC triumphed 76-63.

Goff also won the precision passing event on Thursday, making it a great weekend for the Lions QB. Here are a couple of his touchdown passes:

Jahmyr Gibbs Makes a Fantastic Interception

Late in the game, players began switching positions, with Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs stepping in at cornerback. On a two-point pass aimed at Marvin Mims Jr., Gibbs leapt and made the interception.

He likely would have returned it for a touchdown had several AFC players not come off the sidelines to prevent him.

Brian Branch Adds an Interception of His Own

Branch represented the Lions’ secondary well, despite not being invited as the NFL’s interception leader. He intercepted Joe Burrow on a short pass intended for Joe Mixon.

Lions OL Lead NFC to Victory in Events

Taylor Decker participated in the Pro Bowl tug-of-war event, helping his team secure the win.

Center Frank Ragnow took part in a six-player relay race, where he and Tristan Wirfs were tasked with flipping oversized tires. The duo triumphed over the AFC pair of Rashawn Slater and Tyler Linderbaum, giving their team the momentum needed to win.

Jack Fox Falls Short in Accuracy Challenge

Jack Fox, the NFC punter, competed against Jaguars punter Logan Cooke in an accuracy competition. Both punters took turns attempting to land footballs into six trashcans placed about 30 yards away—similar to an NBA three-point contest.

After both tied, then tied again in overtime, Cooke ultimately won in sudden death.
