Jared Goff was awarded the offensive MVP, while Byron Murphy took home the defensive accolade at the 2025 Pro Bowl.
The NFC secured their third consecutive Pro Bowl victory, defeating the AFC 76-63 following several skill-challenge events, culminating in a flag football match that wrapped up the celebrations. Eli Manning guided the NFC to triumph, overcoming his brother Peyton, who led the AFC. Peyton did achieve a victory, however, as his son Marshall captured attention with a smooth pass to Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff earned the offensive MVP award after passing for 126 yards and three touchdowns with an impressive 10-for-11 passing performance in the flag football game. Byron Murphy, a defensive back for the Minnesota Vikings, was awarded the MVP title for his defensive performance after a pick-six in the matchup.
“The defensive players really showed up to play today,” Murphy stated after receiving the Pro Bowl defensive MVP award. “We enjoyed ourselves, and clearly coach Eli, you know, he corrected us.”
In a total score derived from multiple Pro Bowl activities, the NFC began the day with a 14-7 advantage following six skills challenges on Thursday night. The NFC went on to triumph in “The Great Football Race” relay event and the tug-of-war contest before clinching the flag football match to conclude Pro Bowl Weekend.
