VANCOUVER — American Keon Hatcher Sr. has agreed to a revised contract with the B.C. Lions and is set to play his fifth season with the CFL team.

The six-foot-one, 212-pound wide receiver made 38 receptions for 608 yards over 11 games last season, after coming back in August from an Achilles injury.

In 2023, he earned recognition as a CFL and West Division all-star, achieving 78 catches for 1,226 yards and six touchdowns, all of which are personal bests. It was his second consecutive season surpassing the 1,000-yard threshold.

Prior to joining the Lions in 2021, Hatcher started the 2018 NFL season with the Oakland Raiders and subsequently had practice squad opportunities with the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and New York Jets.

Last year, the B.C. Lions placed third in the West, finishing with a 9-9 record, and were defeated 28-19 by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Division semifinal.
