After a strong showing at the NFL’s Pro Bowl Games last weekend, Jared Goff and his wife, Christen, made an entrance on the red carpet at this season’s NFL Honors, immediately attracting attention.
As the couple walked in, Christen was seen gently holding her noticeably large baby bump, sparking rumors that she was expecting. ESPN NFL reporter Jeff Darlington later confirmed the news that the couple is indeed expecting their first child.
“Congratulations to Christen and Jared Goff, who will welcome their first baby this offseason! Christen and Jared are here on the red carpet for NFL Honors, where Jared is nominated for MVP and Man of the Year. An exciting time for two amazing people who will make such great parents,” Darlington posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The couple is hoping to celebrate even more that evening, as Goff is a finalist for MVP for the first time in his career. He is also one of 32 nominees for this year’s Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.
Jared and Christen, known by her maiden name Christen Harper from her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model career, were married last June, just before the 2024 NFL season.
