Saquon Barkley experienced an unforgettable inaugural season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Following a six-year stint with the New York Giants that yielded minimal playoff success, Barkley joined the Eagles in the offseason.

Barkley achieved a career-best 2,005 rushing yards in the regular season, plus 499 yards during the playoffs as the Eagles progressed to the Super Bowl championship.

Barkley’s fiancée, Anna Congdon, joined the star running back and his family on the Caesars Superdome field to celebrate after Philadelphia won the franchise’s second Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Microphones recorded a segment of the heartfelt moment Barkley and Congdon experienced.

I love you,” Barkley replied

“I’m so proud of you,” she said.

“You accomplished it.” “You accomplished it, sweetheart,” Congdon said to Barkley while cradling their son in her arms.

Barkley was largely held in check throughout the match, ending with 57 rushing yards, but the Eagles’ defense showcased a solid effort in securing the 40-22 win on Sunday.

Barkley, a three-time Pro Bowler, achieved 13 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns in 16 regular-season games.

Barkley and Congdon, who encountered each other during their time as students at Penn State, have a pair of children.
