The Detroit Lions have established their dominance at the top of the NFL standings with head coach Dan Campbell at the helm.

Detroit concluded the regular season with a record of 15-2, securing the top seed in the NFC for the playoffs. In their initial playoff game, a Divisional Round clash with the Washington Commanders, the Lions fell 45-31.

After the season, Detroit faced an additional setback, as they lost both of their top coordinators to head coaching positions.

Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson took on the role of head coach for the Chicago Bears, while defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn secured the position of head coach for the New York Jets.

Following the departure of two leading coordinators in the NFL, the Lions revealed their complete coaching staff for 2025 on social media.

They have substituted Ben Johnson with offensive coordinator John Morton and substituted Aaron Glenn with defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard.

Johnson was part of the Lions’ coaching staff from 2019 to 2024, serving in various capacities including offensive coordinator, tight ends coach, and offensive quality control coach while in Detroit.

Glenn was the defensive coordinator for the Lions from 2021 to 2024. Prior to his tenure in Detroit, Glenn held positions on the teams of the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints.

The Lions have numerous additional new members on the staff, all of whom are detailed in the description below:

Tashard Choice (running backs coach)

Caleb Collins (defensive assistant)

Bruce Gradkowski (offensive assistant)

August Mangin (defensive assistant)

Justin Mesa (offensive quality control)
