Henson arrived at the ceremony as a two-time award winner, for her role as a supporting actress in the limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist and for writing the children’s book You Can Be a Good Friend (No Matter What!): A Lil TJ Book. Other previously revealed winners comprised Samuel L. Jackson, Marlon Wayans, Joy Ann Reid, Blue Ivy Carter, Doechii, Samara Joy, and Jamie Foxx for his comedy special What Had Happened Was.
