Luka Dončić rejoined the Los Angeles Lakers’ starting squad on Saturday after being absent for the second game of a back-to-back on Thursday.
Dončić assisted the Lakers in establishing a lead early by playing the initial 10 minutes of the first quarter.
He was first marked as probable on Friday (management of left calf injury) but was later updated to available just before the game. Saturday’s game was only his second away match since being traded to Los Angeles.
Coach JJ Redick stated on Wednesday that Dončić is no longer under a minutes restriction after taking time to gain recognition.
