Four-star quarterback Brodie McWhorter has narrowed down his list of top schools, including West Virginia, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Indiana, Auburn, and Mississippi State, as reported by 247Sports’ Tom Loy.
McWhorter, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound junior from Cass High School in Cartersville, Georgia, is ranked No. 24 nationally among quarterbacks according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He has scheduled a trip in March for spring practices and another in June for an unofficial visit, per 247Sports. His official visit is set for June 6-8.
During his sophomore season in 2023, McWhorter threw for 2,128 yards and 20 touchdowns with a 65% completion rate. On the ground, he rushed for 530 yards and added five touchdowns.
His junior season was cut short by a broken fibula and dislocated ankle, which required surgery. Before the injury, he amassed 1,200 yards of total offense, 14 touchdowns, and a 72% completion rate.
Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti is focused on assembling his 2026 recruiting class, though he currently has just one commitment—three-star offensive lineman Sam Simpson from Wisconsin.
