Travis Kelce’s neighbor is igniting a conversation about the early stages of the Kansas City Chiefs star’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
Wes Bergmann, renowned for embellishing his tales, joined hosts Michele Fitzgerald and Kellie Nalbandian on The Social Game Podcast for a February episode, where he shared his insider insights about the high-profile couple.
Weeks after Bergmann’s interview was broadcast, he took to X to clarify what he had previously said.
“OMG you guys, I’m really sorry and perplexed,” he posted on March 4. “All that is being discussed doesn’t concern me.” My input on this matter was misconstrued and expressed during what I believed was a relatively private moment, yet it clearly wasn’t.
“He relocated in November, that’s all I am aware of.” I said to Michele, a huge fan, hey this is important. For six months, she had doubts about my truthfulness. “The purpose of the remark was that.”
“Once more, it was removed from its context, but I shouldn’t discuss it regardless,” he finished. “Think of this as the final time I will.”
In the podcast episode, Nalbandian mentioned that one of “the first things” she discovered about Bergmann, 41, prior to his appearance on the show was that he resides next to Kelce, 35.
The Traitors star later disclosed that residing in the upscale gated community of Leawood in Kansas City made him aware that Kelce was dating the “Bad Blood” singer, 35, months before it became public knowledge.
“He’s a mystery — on one side, he resembles a large, rugged football player,” remarked the two-time champion of The Challenge about Kelce. “Conversely, he’s likely to have around 12 Taylor Swift songs composed about him.”
The reality TV personality stated that when he initially informed Survivor champion Fitzgerald about Kelce and Swift’s relationship, he was not taken seriously.

“Bergmann stated, ‘He’s like the boy next door to me,’ as Nalbandian referred to him as the ‘winner of girly chat’ for being one of the first to learn that Kelce and Swift were in a relationship.”
