Jourdan Blake Set to Become Notre Dame’s Director of Player Personnel

Sources confirm that Notre Dame has appointed Jourdan Blake as its new Director of Player Personnel.

Blake arrives in South Bend from Colorado, where he served as the Associate Director of Player Personnel and High School Relations since 2023. During his time with the Buffaloes, Blake oversaw and directed Colorado’s high school and transfer recruitment efforts.

In addition to his experience in Boulder, the Texas native brings a wealth of recruiting expertise to Notre Dame.

Blake’s prior roles include serving as the Director of Recruiting Operations at SMU (2022-2023), Recruiting Coordinator at TCU (2022), and Recruiting Coordinator at SMU (2019-2021).

As a player, Blake played cornerback at Baylor before finishing his playing career at SMU in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Baylor and a master’s degree in Sports Management and Administration from SMU.

At Notre Dame, Blake will collaborate with General Manager Mike Martin and Director of Recruiting Carter Auman.

The Irish are also expected to announce additional hires to strengthen their recruiting department in the near future.
