Raiders re-sign DT Zach Carter

The Las Vegas Raiders re-signed free agent DT Zach Carter, the club announced Tuesday.

Originally a third-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022, Carter has played in 45 career games with 16 starts and totaled 68 tackles (28 solo), two sacks, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and three passes defensed.

In 2024, Carter posted 22 tackles (10), a career-high 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hits and one pass defensed in 12 games between the Bengals and Raiders.

A native of Tampa, Fla., Carter played four seasons at Florida (2018-21), appearing in 46 games with 23 starts. He ranked ninth in the SEC in sacks (eight) as a senior and led his team with five sacks his junior season.
