The Duke Blue Devils enter the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the East region following an impressive season, with Cooper Flagg at the helm.

Duke wrapped up the year with an ACC Tournament championship, achieving a 31-3 overall record and a 19-1 mark in ACC games.

Flagg was the driving force behind the Blue Devils’ remarkable season, leading them to both the ACC regular season and tournament titles.

As the Blue Devils prepare for the NCAA Tournament, Flagg has earned First-Team All-American honors from the NABC, Associated Press, Sporting News, and USBWA.

Duke has officially recognized Flagg as a consensus First-Team All-American.

“officially official,” the Duke Blue Devils’ official social media account posted.

In his freshman year with the Blue Devils, Flagg has averaged 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game, leading the team in all five categories.

He is widely regarded as a top contender for Player of the Year, particularly competing with Auburn’s Johni Broome.

Duke’s first game in the NCAA Tournament will be against the winner of the American versus Mount St. Mary’s matchup. They will compete for the No. 16 seed before the Round of 68.

Although Flagg missed the end of the ACC Tournament due to an ankle sprain, reports suggest he is expected to play in the NCAA Tournament.
