March 28 (UPI) — A new docuseries focusing on the Kansas City Chiefs is set to stream on Disney+.
The series will consist of six episodes and provide fans with insight into the team’s development over the past 60 years, as per an official synopsis shared on Friday.
Shooting occurred throughout the 2024 football season, and the series will feature the team’s AFC championship victory and their defeat in Super Bowl LIX.
“Presented through the perspective of today’s players, coaches, and executives, showcasing their experiences on and off the field throughout the season, the series will intertwine stories of the team’s rich and storied past, its valued culture, and the Chiefs’ significant role within the Kansas City community and the broader sports arena,” the description adds.
The program will additionally be broadcast on ESPN, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet.
“Featuring the brilliance of Patrick Mahomes, the leadership of Andy Reid, and the fervor of Chiefs Kingdom, this endeavor will highlight the drama, intensity, and spirit that transform this team into a worldwide sensation,” stated ESPN executive Burke Magnus.
