Caitlin Clark Breaks Record for Most Expensive Women’s Sports Card at $366,000 USD
Caitlin Clark is making history both on and off the basketball court. Entering her second season in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever standout has now set a new record for the highest-priced women’s sports card ever sold.
Over the weekend, Goldin auctioned a one-of-a-kind Caitlin Clark 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Gold Vinyl autographed card for an impressive $366,000 USD. This sale eclipsed Serena Williams’ previous record of $266,400 USD set in 2022. The card is one of the rarest in women’s sports, boasting a PSA 10 grade and a flawless 10 autograph rating from Professional Sports Authenticator. The highly coveted one-of-one edition shattered Williams’ previous record, further highlighting Clark’s immense popularity.
During the same auction, a 2003 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Exquisite Rookie Patch Autograph card of LeBron James sold for nearly $1.16 million USD. While Clark’s card didn’t reach that level, it solidifies her star status. Her record-breaking rookie season has fueled demand, marking a significant milestone in the world of women’s sports memorabilia. Check out the card below.
