Several key members of the Detroit Lions will sport new jersey numbers for the 2025 campaign.

Wideout Jameson Williams will now wear No. 1 instead of No. 9, while running back Jahmyr Gibbs is shifting from No. 26 to No. 0. Cornerback Terrion Arnold, who wore No. 0 as a rookie, is making the switch to No. 6.
Williams previously wore No. 1 during his standout 2021 season at Alabama.

Among other changes, wide receiver Tim Patrick moves from No. 17 to No. 12, cornerback Ennis Rakestraw Jr. from No. 15 to No. 9, safety Morice Norris from No. 39 to No. 26, defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad from No. 69 to No. 96, and defensive lineman Brodric Martin from No. 98 to No. 99.

Many of the Lions’ recent free-agent additions have also chosen new numbers. Those include cornerback DJ Reed (4), wide receiver Ronnie Bell (10), linebacker Grant Stuard (15), cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (23), defensive lineman Roy Lopez (51), and tight end Kenny Yeboah (88).

Some newcomers to the team, like quarterback Kyle Allen and defensive back Avonte Maddox, have yet to have their jersey numbers revealed.
