Breaking News: Ken Roczen Set to Race Unadilla National Date Revealed….
The German native last raced the Pittsburgh Supercross back in late April before he pulled out of the remaining two Monster Energy AMA Supercross rounds due to damage to his right ankle. Roczen was dealing with the ankle injury for most of the supercross season, but he suffered more damage in a mid-week practice session, which caused him to call it a season. He was also nursing a shoulder injury. The #94 machine picked up a win at the Daytona Supercross and landed seven total podiums in 15 450SX main event starts this season. This weekend’s Unadilla National will be his first Pro Motocross round of the summer, just as it was last year.
Last year, Roczen returned from injuries suffered in supercross to finish 7-6 for seventh overall at Unadilla MX. Then, he raced a Suzuki RM-Z250 in the 250 Class two weeks later at the season finale at Ironman Raceway, scoring 9-12 for ninth overall.
Note, this is a track Roczen has done really well at in previous years. Roczen has won the overall at Unadilla MX three times in the premier class (2016, 2019, and 2021). He also has two 250 Class overall podiums here to make his tally of five total podiums in ten total starts. Where will the #94 finish this weekend?
