In 1998, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, the iconic duo from Led Zeppelin, were still collaborating musically after reuniting in the mid-1990s. Following their 1994 project No Quarter: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant Unledded, they continued their partnership with the release of the album Walking into Clarksdale in April 1998. This album featured all new material and marked their first full studio album together since Led Zeppelin’s final record in 1979. Although the album received mixed reviews and moderate commercial success, it showcased their efforts to evolve beyond their Zeppelin legacy while still embracing elements of their classic sound.
