The Raptors are said to consider Poeltl a vital asset for their future, meaning they won’t trade him unless the Lakers present an offer they can\u2019t refuse.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re seeking at least a first-round pick, but the Lakers are fiercely guarding their own.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s surprising the Lakers even have a remaining first-round pick after their trade with the Dallas Mavericks for Doncic.<\/p>\n
Many assumed the Mavericks would demand several picks along with Anthony Davis and Max Christie, but they let Doncic go for far less.<\/p>\n
Now, the Lakers hold just one first-round pick and will approach its use very cautiously.<\/p>\n
