They came into the league together and made Pro Bowls together. That\u2019s the type of bond that could be intriguing,\u201d Fowler said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Kupp recently disclosed that the Rams informed him they would be seeking to trade him this offseason.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Although there\u2019s a clear connection between Kupp and Goff, I don\u2019t understand the rationale behind Kupp joining the Lions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While I see the tie with Goff, it\u2019s unclear how Kupp would fit into this offense.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Detroit already boasts two 1,000-yard receivers, one of whom is considered among the NFL\u2019s elite.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Additionally, Sam LaPorta, who has averaged 800 yards per season in his first two years, is another weapon in their passing game.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Moreover, the Lions have a strong running game with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, supported by one of the best offensive lines in the league.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Given the established options on offense, it\u2019s hard to envision why the Lions would prioritize Kupp or how he would contribute effectively.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Should it happen, the Lions would be acquiring a player who was once regarded as one of the league&#8217;s top receivers, recording 67 receptions for 710 yards last season.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>However, there may be better fits f<\/em><em>or both Kupp and the Lions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NFL Executive Predicts Lions Will Pursue $80 Million Former All-Pro During the 2025 NFL offseason, the Detroit Lions are expected to be linked with several high-profile players they could potentially acquire.
