\u201cThe Lakers can still waive someone \u2014 Wood or Reddish would be the top candidates, team sources said \u2014 to create a roster vacancy to bring in another center,\u201d McMenamin wrote. \u201cL.A. still has enough room under the second apron to sign a buyout player, someone making less than $12.8 million with his previous team, for the rest of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n

One name likely to be mentioned is Mo Bamba. Though his current production doesn\u2019t match his popularity, Bamba remains an intriguing option due to his shot-blocking ability and potential for spacing the floor in the Lakers’ frontcourt.<\/p>\n
Daniel Theis is another potential target for teams looking to add depth in the frontcourt. He is a seasoned veteran who can contribute as a hard-working center, providing physicality and rebounding.<\/p>\n
The Lakers should seriously consider adding one of these two players if they become available.
