Patricia\u2019s most recent stint was with the Eagles in 2023, where he worked as the senior defensive assistant and effectively served as the defensive coordinator toward the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Patricia posted a 13-29 record as Detroit\u2019s head coach from 2018-2020, before being fired on Nov. 28 following the team&#8217;s Thanksgiving loss to the Texans.<\/p>\n<p>He returned to the Patriots in 2021 as a senior football advisor and then became the team\u2019s offensive line coach and offensive play-caller in 2022, with poor results.
