Kelly – the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford – told Us Weekly: “Honestly, I did get a lot of heat from them. I was like, \u2018Whoa, I love Taylor.\u2019”<\/p>\n
Kelly then attempted to clarify her earlier comments.<\/p>\n
She explained: “When you\u2019re always seeing someone on your social media feed, you kind of lose that love, you know? That\u2019s what I meant. I was like, \u2018I\u2019m seeing her every moment, I\u2019m never wondering what she\u2019s doing.\u2019”<\/p>\n
Kelly had previously suggested that Taylor’s visibility was overshadowing some NFL games.<\/p>\n
She said on the ‘Morning After’ podcast: “It was a smart business move for the NFL, but I felt like it was overshadowing the games. And that\u2019s what bothered me.”<\/p>\n
Travis has become one of the most talked-about athletes globally since starting a relationship with Taylor, and Patrick Mahomes – Travis’ teammate – previously stated that the pop star has helped turn the Chiefs into a “worldwide team.”<\/p>\n
Patrick, 29, told Time magazine: “[The Chiefs] went from a national team that was somewhat global to a truly global team. That\u2019s thanks to Taylor\u2019s fanbase.”<\/p>\n
Patrick also admitted to being impressed by Taylor’s work ethic.<\/p>\n
He shared: “I\u2019ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor\u2019s probably the most humble person that\u2019s been on that stage for that long.<\/p>\n
