Oklahoma State took home two titles. Their distance medley relay team claimed its fifth straight victory with the Championship\u2019s second-best time of 9:30.88. Additionally, Blair Anderson secured the school\u2019s first Big 12 long jump title, leaping 7.62 meters.<\/p>\n
West Virginia successfully defended its distance medley relay crown. Ceili McCabe anchored the team to a meet record of 11:09.42, narrowly surpassing Oklahoma State\u2019s 2011 time of 11:09.67.<\/p>\n
Cincinnati\u2019s Juliette Laracuente-Huebner delivered 10 points for the Bearcats by winning the women\u2019s pentathlon with a total of 4,182 points.<\/p>\n
Baylor\u2019s women shined in two field events. Molly Haywood triumphed in a jump-off battle in the pole vault, clearing a meet-best 4.56 meters, marking the second consecutive Baylor victory in the event. Alexis Brown, the 2024 Big 12 outdoor long jump champion, added another conference title with a 6.71-meter leap, becoming the first Baylor athlete to win both indoor and outdoor long jump titles.<\/p>\n
Texas Tech\u2019s Shelby Frank dominated the women\u2019s weight throw, securing gold with her second attempt of 23.32 meters, which also set a meet record. In the men\u2019s weight throw, Kansas State\u2019s Gary Moore Jr. earned his first Big 12 title with a throw of 22.67 meters.<\/p>\n
