Thus, the story of this season went on. The Mavericks had just five players available for the majority of the fourth quarter due to injuries or time limitations (affecting Dante Exum).<\/p>\n

“I’ve never witnessed this,” said coach Jason Kidd. “Never been in a match where we couldn’t substitute someone to give them a break because we had no one else available.” They were either dressed or in the back receiving stitches. That’s just the way it is. We must continue moving ahead.<\/p>\n
