However, Los Angeles wouldn\u2019t be near the top of the Western Conference without Austin Reaves, which makes his recent performances even more concerning.<\/p>\n
The key issue is that Reaves recently dealt with a calf injury that sidelined him for two games. He\u2019s played in the last three games for the Lakers, but his level of play has raised doubts about whether he returned too soon.<\/p>\n
Reaves shot 2-of-13 in his first game back, 5-of-12 in the second, and 3-of-14 in a narrow loss to the Brooklyn Nets.<\/p>\n
It was expected that Reaves would struggle to regain his form after suffering a calf injury, which is often difficult to recover from. While these numbers might seem arbitrary, the fact remains: the Lakers win when Reaves is an aggressive scorer<\/p>\n
