The video shared on Booker\u2019s Instagram story is a highlighted clip from Watson\u2019s account, where the two-time All-NBA player talks about the importance of his former head coach in his growth. He stated that Watson merits recognition for \u201ceverything.\u201d Upon arriving in Phoenix, the ex-Suns coach motivated him to excel with rigorous training sessions and individual drills.<\/p>\n

Watson came to the Valley for the 2015-2016 season, which was Booker’s rookie season. He began as an assistant, but following Jeff Hornacek’s dismissal, Watson was elevated to head coach.
