In his inaugural season, he led the Wildcats to their most remarkable year-to-year improvement in program history, earning a spot as a semifinalist for the Werner Ladder Naismith Women\u2019s College Coach of the Year. The Atlanta Tipoff Club made this announcement on Thursday, confirming Brooks\u2019 remarkable success in his first year.<\/p>\n
Brooks is one of only 10 coaches selected as semifinalists, with four coming from the powerful Southeastern Conference. The list will be narrowed to five finalists on March 18, and the winner will be announced on April 2.<\/p>\n
