Once a Heel, always a Heel.<\/p>\n

Even though Caleb Love now plays for Arizona, he hasn\u2019t forgotten what it means to represent UNC basketball. After making the difficult decision to transfer following the 2022-23 season, Love has expressed his enduring affection for the Tar Heels.<\/p>\n

However, Love also remembers the intensity of the UNC-Duke rivalry. His iconic 3-pointer in the Final Four against Duke remains one of the most memorable moments in recent history for the program. Looking ahead, Love is preparing to face the Blue Devils once more, as Arizona and Duke meet in the Sweet Sixteen. Love is ready to end Duke\u2019s season again:<\/p>\n

Caleb Love, former UNC player, is primed to create more painful memories for Duke fans.<\/p>\n

In multiple interviews, Love assured, “We’ll be ready for them.” Initially, Love paused, likely aware that both North Carolina and Arizona fans expected him to say more about Duke, but he quickly regained composure.<\/p>\n

This shows his maturity, but let\u2019s be honest\u2014Love knows the Blue Devils well and would relish the opportunity to end their season in the Sweet Sixteen. Currently, the spotlight is on Cooper Flagg and the ACC champions as favorites to win it all, but Love has other plans.<\/p>\n

Has it really been three years? Yes, Love\u2019s game-winning 3-pointer against Duke, while playing for Hubert Davis, helped North Carolina pull off a stunning upset. Now, Love has the chance to send Duke home once more. While we wish he were doing this in a Tar Heels uniform, many of us will be rooting for Arizona on Thursday. Go get \u2018em, Caleb.<\/p>\n
