BYU Football’s Jakob Robinson Selected for All-Star Game

PROVO, Utah – Former BYU football standout Jakob Robinson has been added to one of college football’s top all-star games.
Jakob Robinson was among six late additions to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl roster this week.
Robinson Joins East-West Shrine Bowl
Robinson will team up with his former BYU teammate Tyler Batty at the East-West Shrine Bowl, both representing the west roster.
Robinson is set to wear No. 34, while Batty will don No. 92, the same number he wore at BYU.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 170 pounds, Robinson concluded his BYU career as one of the program’s top cornerbacks. Over four years, Robinson recorded 11 interceptions, including a pick-six.
Robinson also tallied 182 tackles and 21 pass deflections. He was instrumental in BYU’s defense, which ranked as the Big 12’s No. 1 defensive unit in 2024.
In his final appearance for BYU, Robinson recorded three tackles in a victory against Colorado during the 2024 Alamo Bowl.
Robinson primarily excelled at the nickel position in BYU’s defense.
2025 East-West Shrine Bowl Details
The 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Thursday, January 30, at 6 p.m. (MST)/7 p.m. (CST).
