Jared Goff’s Wife Shares Brief Message After His Career Shift

During the 2024 NFL season, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff discussed his post-career plans, sharing that he thinks about life after football “quite a bit.”

” Whenever I’m done, whether that’s many years from now or sooner, I think about if I’ll be burnt out or if I want more,” Goff told the Detroit Free Press. “I’ve always said I’d love to help a friend who’s a coach. I don’t necessarily mean coaching quarterbacks or anything specific, but just helping out however I can.”

“If I’m coaching my kid in high school, that sounds fun, but if I ever have a close friend who’s a head coach, I’d love to help them in any way possible. It could be a remote role, depending on where it is.”

While Goff isn’t done with football just yet, he’s already making plans for the future. On Friday, it was announced that he’s part of a group aiming to bring a WNBA team to Detroit.

“I’m excited to join this incredible group of leaders as we work to bring a WNBA team to Detroit! This is an amazing opportunity for our city and our passionate fan base!” he shared on Instagram.

His wife, Christen, also joined the bid and responded with a “Lets BringIt” hashtag and a blue heart.

At just 30 years old, Goff still has much to accomplish in football, but he’s already focused on what comes next.
