Joao Felix’s nine-word Chelsea statement and how Cole Palmer blocked it from happening
Joao Felix has left Chelsea less than six months after rejoining the club, with the Portuguese forward moving from Stamford Bridge to the San Siro on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
Joao Felix departs Chelsea for the rest of the season
Joao Felix has made the switch to AC Milan on a loan move through the end of the season.
“It’s a chance for me to find a home,” Joao Felix had said when he made his permanent move to Chelsea nearly six months ago. “After two loans, Chelsea and Barca, I needed to stay in one place.”
However, just five months and two weeks later (167 days), Felix is again leaving on loan. This time, it’s to AC Milan, who have secured his services for the rest of the season by paying Chelsea £4.5million, with the Italian club also covering his full wages.
Joao Felix’s departure from Chelsea could trigger a significant flurry of transfers in the final days of the window.
