The singer is backing her boyfriend and the Kansas City Chiefs in their quest for a third straight Lombardi Trophy.
Taylor Swift has come together with Travis Kelce just before his most important game of the year.
The 35-year-old singer arrived in New Orleans on Friday, Feb. 7 to back her boyfriend, also 35, in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday where the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles.
Avoiding the large pre-game celebrations, the couple sought refuge in a quaint restaurant uptown for an intimate dinner date, as per footage acquired by Fox 8 New Orleans.
“We adore you and attended your concert,” fans informed Swift as she walked into the restaurant.
“Thank you very much,” the singer responded while climbing the restaurant steps with Kelce’s arm wrapped around her waist.
Swift donned a lace black dress, heels, and an accompanying Hermes Constance bag. Kelce chose a monochrome style, sporting a gray jacket along with matching trousers and sneakers. His look was completed by dark sunglasses.
Kelce has been in the area since last Sunday, training with the Chiefs and participating in media interviews.
His elder brother Jason and Jason’s spouse Kylie Kelce are also currently in New Orleans to express their support. The brothers previously faced off in 2023 when the Eagles and Chiefs last competed in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs triumphed.
“I wish he had chosen to play another year, but he’s quite satisfied with his current life, and I’m glad to support him,” Travis mentioned to reporters on Feb. 3 about his brother, who announced his retirement from the NFL in March 2024. “He has the chance to spend a bit more time with his family girls, you know?”
The older Kelce will be supporting his younger brother from the stands, joined by his wife Kylie, their parents, Donna and Ed, and Swift for the second consecutive year.
Swift recently had a major night — last Sunday’s Grammy Awards — where she received six nominations but did not win any. She boasts a career total of 14 victories and 58 nominations, being the sole artist to have won album of the year on four occasions.
The Chiefs aim to create their own legacy with a third straight championship on Sunday.
