Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was not pleased with the events of Super Bowl Sunday.

The match turned mostly one-sided by the second half, and the Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22.

In the most recent St. Brown Bros. podcast, the skilled wide receiver from Detroit expressed that he found the whole Super Bowl, including Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, to be “wack.”

“Super Bowl Sunday, in my opinion, it was a disappointing Super Bowl,” St. Brown stated. “I wished to take part, but we didn’t succeed.” Clearly, I’ll be watching the Super Bowl since I’m curious about who takes the victory. “However, from the gameplay to the halftime show, I found it disappointing.”

St. Brown and his siblings Osiris and Equanimeous discussed their opinions about the halftime show. Although Equanimeous enjoyed it, Amon-Ra and Osiris both expressed that they had their concerns about the performance.

Osiris observed that the sound seemed strange to him, whereas Amon-Ra was not pleased with the initial part of the performance. He believed that Lamar later redeemed it by performing hit tracks like Not Like Us and including popular artist SZA in the act.

“From a scale of 10, I rate him a six.” It might have been around an eight or nine. “I rate him a six out of ten,” stated St. Brown. “Unlike us, I appreciate how he introduced that by saying, ‘Oh, I can’t do it, I might get sued.'” They joked about it, revisited it, that was awesome. I believe that SZA’s coming out was one of the most challenging aspects. She nailed it. I’m not sure if she was actually singing, but she performed well. The conclusion turned out to be enjoyable. “However, the initial half, 50 percent, is garbage to me.”

Possible competitors for first match of the season

Similar to others, the former fourth-round selection understood that as the Eagles claimed the Super Bowl title, they will be showcased in the season-opening match before a nationwide television audience.

St. Brown indicated, alongside Equanimeous, that the teams most likely to visit Lincoln Financial Field to challenge the Eagles are either the Lions or the Commanders.

The 25-year-old stated he would be eager to take on the reigning Super Bowl champions, particularly with a fully fit defense. Both suggested that the team probably needs to concentrate on further strengthening the defense this offseason, rather than pursuing a player such as wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

From the game to the halftime performance, it was whack.
