Singer Taylor Swift was present at Super Bowl LIX to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Although she received initial applause, the audience later responded with boos. Currently, Philadelphia Eagles player Saquon Barkley has stepped up to back her and stated that he cannot understand the cause of the unfavorable response.
Saquon contributed to the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory as Philadelphia triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22. Taylor arrived to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Recently, Saquon was a guest on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, where he was inquired about the chances of Travis marrying Taylor.
Saquon stated, “I have no clue.” I will mention this, however. I recall they displayed her on the jumbotron and she received boos. I don’t understand it. “I don’t understand why she was receiving criticism there.”
He stated, “She’s there backing her partner and has elevated the game.” In football, our focus is on expanding the game globally. We’re going to Brazil, Mexico, and, it seems, Australia soon. Our efforts to grow the game are aided by her involvement, so I don’t understand the criticism she is receiving.
Saquon’s backing of Taylor has led many to question why her boyfriend Travis has yet to comment on the incident.
“One user remarked on how random players defend her, while her boyfriend doesn’t,” another added, “Keep in mind her own partner isn’t supporting her in this way.”
“Why isn’t Travis speaking up? Stand up for your girl, man,” commented one user. Another user remarked, “When the assistance you receive isn’t from the individual you anticipated”.
