The Kansas City Chiefs athletes are still healing from the hurt of their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles a little over a week ago.

The Eagles dominated the game from start to finish – pressuring quarterback Patrick Mahomes, containing tight end Travis Kelce, and effortlessly dismantling the Chiefs defense.

Now, KC must confront the repercussions of their second defeat in the Super Bowl during the Mahomes-era and will need to regroup for the upcoming season.

It’s a devastating setback for their dynasty that puts an end to any discussions about Mahomes being the ‘GOAT’ (for the time being) while he copes with the defeat.

Who could you relate to more than the person who defeated you in your first Super Bowl loss and whom you aim to exceed as the best in the game?

In a day-in-the-life video, Tom Brady documented his experiences during Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, highlighting his activities in the lead-up to and following the first championship game he has ever aired.

“You simply go without sleep for a few days,” Brady disclosed. ‘You believe it’s a bad dream, you genuinely do.’ You’re thinking, “it wasn’t real, I just woke up from a nightmare,” and then suddenly… it hits you.

‘And ultimately, you move past it.’ I mean, sharp pain, but then there’s that long-lasting scar tissue from getting that far and then falling short.

Titans, Hawks. Particularly when you are the stronger team. In each of the three Super Bowls we lost, we were the superior team. Not on that day, however…

Brady experienced his first championship defeat in Super Bowl XLII, where the previously undefeated New England Patriots fell short by three points against a New York Giants team that finished the regular season 10-6.

He experienced defeat once more against the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI – losing again by a remarkably slim margin.

His third Super Bowl defeat occurred against another NFC East rival – the Philadelphia Eagles – in Super Bowl LII.

In one of the most high-scoring games in NFL history, the Patriots were defeated by eight points.

Brady’s three losses totaled a combined margin of 15 points. Contrast that with the defeats Mahomes has experienced.

He suffered a defeat against Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV by an enormous margin of 22 points.

Mahomes’ second match, this time versus Philadelphia, ended in an 18-point defeat that honestly should have been far more lopsided.
