The Wisconsin Badgers have plenty to prove after their disappointing 41–13 loss to No. 4 Notre Dame at Lambeau Field.
Wisconsin entered halftime down just 13–10, but everything changed after the break. Notre Dame exploded for 28 points in the second half while the Badgers managed only three.
The biggest concern was Wisconsin’s inability to slow Notre Dame once the Fighting Irish changed their approach. Missed tackles, coverage problems and costly mistakes allowed the game to slip away quickly.
But there were also positives. Quarterback Colton Joseph showed poise in his Wisconsin debut, throwing for 217 yards and a touchdown. The offense also showed signs of a foundation that could improve as the season progresses.
