Leeds United defender Gabriel Gudmundsson has provided an encouraging update ahead of his return to Premier League action after gaining valuable minutes with Sweden during the international break.
The 27-year-old left-back played the full 90 minutes in Sweden’s 3-1 Nations League victory over Poland after previously appearing from the bench in the win against Romania. Leeds United reported that Gudmundsson believes the international involvement has helped him regain rhythm following his pre-season hamstring injury.
