Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love appeared to aggravate his left knee early in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium. Despite the injury, Love continued to play through the first half. However, he left the game in the second half after taking a hit following a pass.
Coach Matt LaFleur comments on Love’s injury
When asked post-game about Jordan Love’s status, LaFleur said, “No idea.” He acknowledged a “high level of concern,” adding that “we didn’t, and he didn’t feel he could protect himself.”
Love sustains groin injury
The Packers announced that Love is questionable to return with a groin injury.
Love re-injures left knee
While throwing an incomplete pass with 11:50 left in the first quarter, Love seemed to re-injure his left knee, landing awkwardly. After an examination by Dr. Pat McKenzie on the sidelines, he continued playing.
Love visited the medical tent during a following series but played the remainder of the half, visibly limping at times. He completed 12 of 20 passes in the first half for 184 yards and an interception in the red zone, with the Packers leading 13-10 at halftime.
Love had missed games two and three of the season with a sprained MCL in his left knee. Malik Willis, who subbed in for Love on Sunday, had led the Packers to wins in those two games.

After the Jaguars took their first lead with a third-quarter touchdown, Willis returned with 5:10 left. He directed an eight-play, 80-yard drive that took 4:49, culminating in a 38-yard touchdown run by Josh Jacobs, putting the Packers back ahead, 20-17.
