Travis Kelce intends to continue playing and has no intention of retiring soon, regardless of whether the Kansas City Chiefs secure a third consecutive Super Bowl victory on Sunday.

The future intentions of the 35-year-old Chiefs tight end are now being closely examined due to his increased off-field prominence from his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift.

Kelce, who dismissed a question regarding a possible proposal happening soon, was firm that he has no plans to retire from the NFL in the near future.

“I’ve considered it, but I continue to adore my work. I enjoy arriving at the office each day,” Kelce mentioned during the Super Bowl’s kickoff evening event in New Orleans, organized for the assembled global media.

“Experiences like these, weeks like these, and the recent month in the playoffs make me believe I could play this game endlessly.”

“I believe there is still plenty of quality football remaining in me.” We’ll find out what occurs. I’m aware that I’ve been preparing myself for additional chances in my life.

“The aim has always been to understand that a football career is only temporary.”

When asked where he envisions himself in three years, Kelce responded: “Hopefully still on the football field.” “I intend to be a Kansas City Chief and participate in football.”

Kelce continues to perform at a high level, although he has slightly declined from his best. This season, he made 97 receptions but only accumulated 823 yards and recorded three touchdowns.

In the playoffs, however, he has thrived, delivering a vintage display in the Chiefs’ divisional round victory against Houston, recording seven receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown. He heads into the Super Bowl with the highest number of catches in playoff history (174) and ranks second to Hall of Famer Jerry Rice in receiving yards (2,039) and touchdown receptions (20).

Kelce expressed admiration for Swift, noting that their relationship inspires him to continue excelling on the football field.

“I should fulfill my part of the deal,” he remarked. “If she’s out here shining as the superstar she is, refusing to accept no for an answer, and constantly putting in hard work, I definitely need to match her energy.”

“I believe we both enjoy manifesting things.” “You can’t deny its reality since we are present, correct?”

However, when inquired if he intends to propose after Super Bowl Sunday, assuming the Chiefs secure a third consecutive victory, Kelce promptly dismissed the idea by replying: “A Super Bowl ring? “Next inquiry.”

A different reporter attempting a follow-up encountered the same resistance. “Dude, consecutive?” “You people are insane,” Kelce responded.

Interest has also focused on the Pennsylvania-native Swift’s team loyalty in the Super Bowl after Philadelphia made it to Super Bowl LIX, where they will compete against Kansas City, but Kelce is certain of where her support stands.

“I’m aware her dad supports the Eagles,” he stated. “However, she’ll definitely support the Chiefs this time.”
