The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. Following a three-year streak without a playoff loss, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his team unexpectedly crumbled against the Eagles.
Kelce, who had no catches in the first half for the first time in his playoff career, ended with four receptions totaling 39 yards. On Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” the 35-year-old All-Pro was still dealing with the heavy defeat, yet focused on the positive aspects.
I’ve got a wonderful life, dude. “I have people I care about,” Kelce stated. “I have the most wonderful family globally that backs me in all my endeavors, and they were all present, you know, rooting for me and wishing for the best on Sunday.”
Taylor Swift, who is dating Kelce, was present at the Super Bowl held at the Superdome in New Orleans.
Although the Chiefs did not achieve NFL history by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, Swift gained another historic milestone on her resume on February 14.
After the special-edition vinyl launch of “Lover: Live From Paris,” Swift overtook Madonna as the first female artist to reach 13 UK Number 1 albums (previously tied with 12), as reported by Official Charts.
“‘Lover (Live From Paris)’ is the first album to achieve Number 1 based solely on pure sales (excluding any stream contributions) in eight years, following Taylor’s own ‘Reputation’ from 2017,” the outlet stated.
The 35-year-old pop artist is now equal with Elvis for the highest number of UK chart-topping albums. Only Robbie Williams and The Beatles have a greater amount (15 each).
Even though Swift may have faced boos at the Super Bowl, she continues to be one of the most cherished global superstars, as her sales demonstrate. The “Lover: Live From Paris” achieved the highest total weekly sales for a No. 1 album this year and set a record for the largest weekly sales of a live vinyl album this century.
The “Karma” artist may have left this year’s Grammy Awards without a trophy, but Swift continues to achieve success.
